Strava is a great app you can use to track your bike rides and the free version is perfectly useful.
You will NOT need to buy the premium version for the purposes of this course.
How to install Strava to your phone.
1. Visit your app store to download Strava

3. Install the app, and create your profile.
Alternatively, if you use a Garmin GPS device or similar, just go to www.strava.com and sign up for an account. You will not need the phone app to actually track your rides, but you may still want it to view details of your rides later, and to see what your Strava friends have been up to.
Every time you do a ride or a run, record it using Strava!
In the next section, we’ll link your Strava to your MyFitnessPal so that the calorie estimates from your activities flow through automatically into your daily calorie allowance in MFP.
